Pixel Lab pdx is thrilled to announce that we will be participating in the first exhibit at ADX entitled, Process + Prototype.
“Instead of looking at finished products, the show instead examines the creative processes, successes, and failures that stem from taking a concept into production.”
We’ll be showing the process work from murmur, Erin’s terminal BFA project. The exhibit will include early design concepts, the tile prototype, a tile mold, a photo essay of the fabrication process from start to finish, and an installation of the tiles, themselves.
ADX is “building a community of Makers” in their innovative workspace environment which brilliantly offers the immense creative capital of Portland a fully stocked wood shop, metal shop, project space, and oh so much more. In their own words:

Not only are we excited to be in the first group of participants showing work at ADX, we are looking forward to meeting the other designers and learning more about their projects, as well as supporting ADX in their inaugural event!
